Florentine paper pack

Okay, this is what happens when life gets crazy at work.
I lose my mojo (actually I just don't seem to have the time to create)
so I have the Florentine paper pack sitting in my garage
just waiting for me to do something with it
...and maybe tommorrow (I only work til 1'sh)
I will have time to be creative.
Until then, please enjoy this "corportate" inspiration.

Another June SOTM card

This is another of my attempts at the June HAS challenge

I like this better than my first attempt....but still not quite happy,
I never realized how hard it is NOT to use any neutral cardstock

thank you cards--pemberly paper

So while in Toronto I had a few minutes to whip up a couple of cards.
I only brought a couple of stamp sets (S1202, S1206 and D1482) and a pemberly paper (X7148B)
plus a few sheets of colonial white cardstock.
Here are the results

June SOTM and 1st attempt at HAS

Okay,
here's the card I am NOT exchanging in the HAS (Humble Artists Swap)
It was my first attempt at getting all the bases covered, but it doesn't really sing to me.
So,
I will share it with all of you
and ask for your feedback.

I took this shot so you could see how I lined up the green cardstock
before I added the other layers.

place the large bird so that when the card is "closed"
he is looking at the little bird

I am going to play around with challenge for a while
if you want to join me in going crazy
here are a couple of guidelines
NO patterned paper
Minimum of 8 layers
Use only paper--no ribbon or twine or other stuff
and use 6 stamped images (minimum)
Check back in the middle of June to see what I actually exchanged.

Toronto Update

I am so loving this band exchange.
The kids are wonderful,
the people are wonderful,
the attractions are wonderful,
In fact everything is wonderful.....except
for today.
It's raining and we are scheduled to perform outdoors at Wonderland (?)
Pic's to follow when I get home
